Ahem!…this is great news!,only problem:I cant buy anything from MGO shop(my country is not LISTED!!)
HOW THE (MA SE’ MOER)the hell will i get this expansion?

Which country are you from? My country is not listed as well. I’ve tried purchasing the character slot, but the system rejected my credit card.

Damn. They should allow other countries not in the list to purchase as well. It’s not like PS3 owners exists in US, Europe & Japan only.

I from Australia we are on the last but its not in the shop to buy its probably only available in japan at the moment anyhow

Yes domeno we know about that:We on about the fact that our country is not listed on MGO shop,so even if we get this after japan…theres still no way to get them.

I’m also from South Africa Mangelboy, why the hell Konami can’t just release these on the psn store is so beyond me… its really stupid.

I think thousands of South-Africans are going to be super pissed. Why? Because we aren’t on the list. That really sucks!!!!!!!!

Hello fellows, I’m a big MGS and PS3 fan as well.
I live in Brazil, and I have the same problem, I cannot even buy in the PSN.
So I use this alternative: www.entropay.com
Just register, put your information, and credit card.
Then he will generate you a virtual credit card, wich have it’s own number, wich you use to buy in sites that don’t allow your country credit cards.
That’s the away I buy in the PSN, didn’t tested in the Konami store, but probly will work, see ya.

Don’t worry, I live in japan and have tried three diffrent credit cards and still havn’t been able to buy anything from the konami online store. So your not the only one’s getting fucked.

I purchased the MGO expansion right before the servers went down, It shows up now on my previous purchases but I never downloaded anything and I can’t access any of the new content…

anyone gone through the entire process without a hitch?

I need to figure out how to get this working.

BTW KONAMI HAS LOST ALL MY RESPECT FOR NOT PUTTING THIS ON PSN.

Why won’t they release it as an expansion pack in stores? if the online payment method is giving them and us so much of a problem( server overload ) and half the countries in the world won’t be accepted. I’ll be happy to pay 100 US$ FOR IT =(

We all going to return our MGS4 copy for full refund if this problem is not sorted.Not trying to funny but its frustrating if it says:error..if your country is listed below”You won’t be able purchase goods.
I also think it will not look good for konami if we demanded our money back(few thousand complaints)

What im about to ask u is no joke:I want Hideo Kojima himself to e-mail me mangelboy@hotmail.com about this problem.(its long shot..but anythings possible)…knowing Mr Kojima is “Perfectionist”…why did he fail when it came to the online mode?Thought the world was equal when it comes to gaming (not just europe,usa & japan)one World!!!

I’m from Greece and everytime I go to the MGO shop the agreement page always appears blank and can’t continue from there.Does anyone have the same problem?

the MGO expansion pack is 10 euros ull hav to convert that to yer own currency the MGO expansion pack plus (same thing only with an extra character slot thrown in)
costs 13 euros

you losers (practically everyone who has posted) need to calm down and pretend you know how to read the headlines on all of Konami’s websites… THE SERVERS ARE DOWN EVERYWHERE. I live in the US and have been trying to get the add-on since the second it hit midnight on the 17th. and so has everyone else which is why their SERVERS HAVE CRASHED

Hey Mangelboy why doesn’t south african players start a huge clan so we can still enjoy the multiplayer together, since everytime I log on i cannot find a server that does not have an exspansion.

Dan, you should read it from here. All the servers are fixed, the update it working on rotation of restricted ip’s, but WE in SA get a message saying because of our country we cannot purchase it, so how about you take a chill pill and read PROPERLY and actually see what we seeing, before you start dissing everyone

@mangel, Yeah I joined the ps3za forum, hoping to get times and stuff cos i wanna play. I got a reply from them. They said that we purchased MSG4 and not MGO, MGO is a part of it as a bonus and therefore they will nto refund anyone, as it was part of the game, and not the game itself. If that makes ANY sense. So basically, all that promotion they did for the online features was not in anyway a means to get people to buy it. I say if they were only selling MSG4 they should have NEVER promoted the online feature. They talking out their holes!

hey guys!!!! i have solved this problem!!! im from Estonia- country olso on the list!!! but i got the PACK. you need only have a friend living in other contry which isn’t ol that horable list of 30 country!! if he will buy it for you it will work !!!!!!

any1 that list of name of countries is a black list… coz those countries make copies n sell em… which means that they wont get any money from the copies that they sell.. so if they sell da expansion pack… ppl will by da copies.. coz they r cheaper and da main company (konami) wont get any money

I live in Britain. I had no problem getting a Konami ID and getting online. Then I try to buy the expansion pack plus tonight now that I’m finally paid. I enter all my credit card deatils, and then personal details, click next, and then the damn thing returns an HTTP 404 error, Not Found. It’s the same whether I do it on my laptop or my PS3, so it’s not just a PC issue. Any ideas anyone?
