Preorder MGS4, Beta Test Metal Gear Online

Want to beta test Metal Gear Online, the upcoming 16-player internets version of Konami’s stealth series? Just preorder Metal Gear Solid 4.

In their press release announcing the late June availability of the MGS4 bundle package for PlayStation 3, Sony said that anyone who participates in their “nationwide pre-sell promotion” for the game will be “guaranteed access” to a beta test of MGO in late April.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will include a “Metal Gear Online Starter Pack” that, going by the name, will be a scaled-down version of the full MGO experience. Further release information has yet to be announced.

Konami held a closed beta test for the Japanese version of the game last summer.
