PES2008 PS3 Patch Is Now LIVE

November 27, 2007 | Author: play-beyond | Filed under: Games

It seems that Konami have finally got their act together and released the much anticipated patch for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the PS3.

If you boot up PES2008 today, you will notice a patch automatically downloads, and it’s designed to solve those frequent online lag problems users have reported. Furthermore, it seems there is the possibility the patch might also fix the frame rate problems in the single-player game. Konami kept this patch secret and have yet to announce the official changes or updates it provides, but we assume players can figure it out for themselves once the patch is downloaded. It’s not hard to notice if the game moves better, be it online or offline, right?

It seems that the patch makes the pitch unrealistic. Konami is fixing one aspect and screwing another one up.

With development like this, EA might just nicked the Soccer Game of the Year this time around.

Yeah, I was really disappointed Konami. I’m glad they released this patch, but I have to say I partly agree with what Nick said.
