PSN Home Launch Delayed

Showing off Sony’s social networking MMO project ‘Home’ at the Tokyo Game Show, Kaz Hirai revealed that the game - previously due out this year - has been pushed back until spring 2008. The “needs and feedback” of users (presumably those in the beta test) was cited as the reasoning for this slip.
Attendees at TGS will get a better look at Home, Hirai assured, before talking about the new Dress mode which is being included in the title, and will be also be shown-off in Tokyo. ‘Dress’ is described as “Everybody’s Fashion Entertainment”, so we’ll keep an eye out for more news on this, seemingly clothing focussed addition.
Home is presently in beta testing and was due for release around October, though beta testers have privately spoken of their doubts that the game is sufficiently complete let alone polished for launch - making this delay seem sensible if Sony are to deliver the killer online app they promise.
Hirai assured attendees at the conference that the delay is not down to technical issues, with Sony instead focusing on developing content and features for Home that will appeal to multiple regions.
