Ubisoft: Haze Now PS3 Exclusive

Ubisoft has told CVG that FPS Haze is “only being developed for PS3″, after they queried the publisher about recent reports that the game is now 100-percent exclusive to Sony’s console.

Previously it was understood that Free Radical’s shooter would lead on PS3 this year and then release on PC and Xbox 360 in 2008 - so have plans for these latter two versions now been binned?

Well, that’s a question that’s hanging around in the air. We’re all well aware of how certain games are announced solely for one platform and then, surprise, surprise, it emerges that additional platform versions are in the pipe too…

To cover all bases we got on the blower to Free Radical to clarify the score with Haze where platform development is concerned, however the developer declined to comment.

Officially then, Haze is only coming to PS3. But don’t fall of in your chair in shock when PC and Xbox 360 versions are confirmed by official channels.
